Looking for your next bandmate, collaborator, or creative connection?
Milk St. Studios is hosting Musician Networking Night: Find Your Next Bandmate, a low-pressure, conversation-focused mixer for local musicians, singers, songwriters, producers, and bands looking to meet each other.
This is not a jam night or performance night. It’s a chance to talk music, share what you’re working on, meet people with similar goals, and make real connections in the local music community.
Whether you’re starting a band, looking to join one, filling out a lineup, writing songs, producing, booking shows, or simply trying to meet more people in the scene, this night is built for connection.
This is one of a few new community concepts we’re testing at Milk St. Keep an eye out for things like Project Pitch Night, Demo Listening Circle, Songwriter Swap, Producer/Artist Matchmaking, etc..

Tuesday Jam Night at Milk St. Studios is our weekly night for musicians to meet, play, and connect.
The Beatles Room and Petty Room now have sign-up sheets at the door. When you arrive, you can choose where you want to jump in depending on whether you’re looking for covers, a more structured jam, or something more freeform and experimental.
The goal is to keep the night organized enough that everyone gets a fair chance to play, while still keeping it loose, collaborative, and fun. Bring your instrument, listen to the room, keep volume respectful, and be ready to trade parts, hold down a groove, follow a tune, or see where the music goes.
Members play free. Non-members are $10.

We are so grateful for our latest SNHUGFEST X! OUR TENTH ANNIVERSARY! sponsor, Milk St. Studios! If you haven't been there, check them out. They are in Dover and offer amazing programs and a welcoming space for musicians of all levels. They truly are a "musicians' playground!"
Friday Jam at Milk St. Studios.
This Friday, June 19 from 5–7 PM, we’re hosting an intermediate free-form jam for players who want to stretch out, listen, lock in, and play by feel.
This is less about calling songs and more about building grooves in the room. Think eye contact, head nods, jumping in when it feels right, holding down a riff or bassline, taking a solo when the moment opens up, and keeping the music moving together.
Open to intermediate and advanced players who are comfortable playing by ear and collaborating in the moment.
$5 to join. Space is limited, with a hard cap of 20 players.
Text 603-326-5060 to get on the list.
Reminder: the drum workshop with Jordan and Kevin is tonight from 7–9 PM at Milk St. Studios.
They’ll be covering the art of the groove, moving beyond cliché beats and learning how to apply rhythm more musically across rock, funk, shuffle, samba, and jam settings.
Expect a hands-on session covering mechanics, dynamics, rudiments, fills, and how to actually use these ideas when playing with other musicians.
$10 for members / $15 for non-members. Come hang, learn, and get a little tighter behind the kit.
