Investing in young people is investing in the future of our neighborhoods.

Innovation Station S.T.E.A.M. and Leadership Summer Camp returns this July, creating opportunities for kids to learn, grow, collaborate, and explore new skills in a positive community environment. Programs like these help empower the next generation of leaders right here in Dover.

NeighborWorks Week gives us a chance to recognize the people behind the work.

From housing counseling and community outreach to event planning, revitalization efforts, youth programming, lending, communications, and resident support, our team wears a lot of hats every day.

Thank you to the staff, volunteers, partners, and residents who continue helping move this work forward. Community change takes all of us.

Healthy communities go beyond housing. On June 30, Restoring Central Dover and Dover Public Library will host a Community Health Resource Fair featuring wellness resources, free health screenings, local organizations, and support services for residents.

Creating stronger neighborhoods means supporting the whole community, physically, emotionally, and socially. We hope you’ll join us.

Community development also means advocating for housing solutions at every level.

Recently, NeighborGood Partners gathered with legislators and community leaders at Legislative Hall to discuss affordable housing needs across Delaware and the projects currently underway to help address the housing crisis facing our communities.

These conversations matter because stable housing changes lives, strengthens neighborhoods, and creates opportunities for future generations.

Strong neighborhoods are built together. Throughout NeighborWorks Week, we’re celebrating the volunteers, residents, and community members who continue showing up to care for Central Dover.

Our Neighborhood Cleanup Days help create cleaner, safer, and more welcoming spaces for everyone who calls this community home.

The Scoop on Loockerman is officially open for the season 🍦

What makes The Scoop special isn’t just the ice cream. It’s the opportunities being created for young people right here in our community through workforce development, mentorship, and hands-on job experience.
