What Happens When One SSD Fails?
Losing important footage is something every creator wants to avoid. So we put PixelMob Pro’s 3-drive RAID through a hands-on single-drive failure test.
The result? Even with one SSD offline, RAW, JPEG, and video files remained accessible and readable in our test. The system detected the failure and began rebuilding the array after a new SSD was installed.
One important reminder: RAID helps protect against single-drive failure, but it’s not a substitute for an independent backup.
