Our goal is to better understand the biology and ecology of mobulids (manta and devil rays) throughout the islands of the Caribbean Sea, in an effort to drive effective conservation measures for these endangered species and the habitats they utilize.
It's Manta Monday, and we're back with a new manta in the database! ๐๐
Meet Finn, spotted in Curaรงao in 2024 by Mike Hess of Finnโs Up Dive School and recently added to our database after attending one of our Manta Monday presentations!
Do you have an older photo or video of a manta in the Caribbean? We'd love to see it! Every sighting helps us learn more about manta and devil rays.
For the next two weeks (June 8 and June 15), our Manta Monday presentations will be held at Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino, Bonaire with Divi Dive Bonaire in the Pure Ocean Garden at 7:30 PM. No RSVP is needed, we hope to see you there!

We had so much fun today! A huge thank you to for inviting us to join their Danki Day event celebrating their 40th anniversary!
Our Manta Masks were a huge hit and we shared a little info about manta rays with the kids too! Every manta has unique spots and the kids creativity led to some amazing and unique masks.
We also heard about a few more manta sightings at the event, shared info about the new species and met a lot of great people! Thanks for chatting with us!
Be on the lookout for more good things to come and hopefully more manta ray sightings! ๐ค

Visitors to the STINAPA DANKI event can make use of a free bus that takes them to Washington Park. The bus leaves Playa, picks up passengers at Rincon and continues to Washington Park. The bus then takes people from Washington Park to Rincon and Playa.

Manta ray sighting in Bonaire this weekend!
Itโs been a quiet year so far and we are hoping this manta sticks around to surprise a few more divers around the island!
Tonight, we will be hosting our free presentation, Manta Monday at Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino, Bonaire with Divi Dive Bonaire in the Pure Ocean Garden at 7:30pm
Join us to learn more about manta and devil ray species in the Caribbean Islands. Free, open to everyone and no RSVP needed.
After this presentation, we will be taking a short break from Manta Monday and will resume presentations in June!
