Back To My Roots Homestead

I have really been struggling with the thought of no garden this year due to our upcoming move but… this really has me thinking 🤔 maybe I can have one after all if I plant them in buckets or containers of some sort to move with us.

One of our girls gave us our first ever double yolk! This egg was HUGE!

Now that all the goats have gone to their new homes I am going to be focused on getting my house in order to list and find our next forever home or property.

But… I also decided to break out my sourdough starter from the back of the fridge to bring it back to life.

The snow and ice have been slowly melting here and this sheet of ice coming off the barn roof is something else.
