Farming today, and the past four years, is tough. Rising input costs, high interest rates, and low commodity prices put constant pressure on farm operations. When those challenges are combined with the day-to-day problems of farming, long hours, an isolating work environment, and busy family life, many farmers are left feeling overwhelmed and worn down with little opportunity to pause or reset.
To encourage and support local farmers, we are hosting a once-monthly devotion over coffee and donuts called Good Ground Fellowship. This low-stress, welcoming gathering gives farmers a chance to start the month with a short word of encouragement and time to check in on one another, and build community with others who understand the realities of farm life.
This program will start on March 6th and will be held every first Friday of the month. We will have a short devotion from a local pastor or friend of the farming community. Coffee and donuts will also be served. Please share with any local farmers or those involved in the ag community!
