So I woke up with Pink Eye this morning, I look like I have been punched in the eye. Instead of sharing this with you, I will not be at the market today. I am pretty bummed about this. If anyone needs anything, let me know. I will get it to you soon.

My roses are blooming, how could I resist?

One caveat of using locally grown products is that seasonal conditions cause variability in aesthetics. Personally, I love this reminder that nature offers us change.

I source my olive oil from a local farm. And the last time I picked up oil (just before the hurricane) they asked if I minded the heavy, dark pomace oil. I said of course not! Well, it is very dark and this soap is supposed to be white. Will it be white tomorrow when I unmold it? Not sure, but whatever color it is, it smells incredible already. Energize with its satsuma orange, and bright grapefruit notes is probably my favorite.
