💙 Want to Help Foster Kids, But Can’t Foster? You Still Can! 💙

One of the biggest misconceptions is that the only way to support children in foster care is by becoming a foster parent. While foster parents are greatly needed, there are many other ways to make a difference!

Through City Hope, you can:
✨ Donate clothing, pajamas, diapers, wipes, car seats, and other essentials.
✨ Volunteer your time.
✨ Become a monthly sponsor.
✨ Donate items for our annual Christmas program.
✨ Sponsor a child or family during the holidays.
✨ Help provide necessities for children entering foster care.
✨ Share our posts and help spread awareness.

Through DHR, you can:
✨ Become a respite provider and give foster families a much-needed break.
✨ Support and encourage foster families in your community.
✨ Advocate for children in foster care.
✨ Learn more about foster care and share that information with others.

Not everyone is called to foster, but everyone can play a role in supporting children and families involved in foster care.

Every donation, volunteer hour, prayer, act of kindness, and word of encouragement helps create a stronger support system for children who need it most. ❤️

Come shop great deals while helping City Hope provide support to local children and families. Every purchase helps us prepare for our annual Christmas program with Houston County DHR.

And don’t forget to grab a bite to eat while you’re here! We’ll have food vendors both days, plus Houston County DHR will be on-site to answer questions about foster care and becoming a foster parent.

Today several of our queens gathered and made donations of razors and sunscreen! City hope has several needs right now that they are out of or severely low in stock.

-Pajamas (all sizes)
-New underwear (all sizes)
-Ethnic hair car products
-Shave cream
-Carseats (new or used but in date!)

They are also preparing for their rummage sale on July 10th and 11th. Any donations are appreciated to help sponsor Christmas for foster children all over the Wiregrass. Big tickets donations are also accepted! Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding donations!

We have a foster family in need of two front-facing 5-point harness car seats! They do not have to be new, but we ask that they are within the expiration date!

Want to Make a Difference? Volunteer at City Hope!

Looking for a way to give back to your community? We would love to have you join our amazing team of volunteers at City Hope!

Whether you can help for a few hours or on a regular basis, there is always something to do from sorting donations and organizing the store to helping families in need and supporting special events.

📍 Volunteer Hours:
• Tuesday–Thursday: 9 AM – 4 PM
• 2nd & 4th Saturday: 9 AM – 12 PM

No special experience is needed just a willing heart and a desire to help others!

To volunteer, simply send us a message the day before you’d like to come, and we’ll get you plugged in.

Together, we can bring hope to families throughout our community.

We know it may feel early, but we are already preparing for our big Christmas for Houston DHR kids that we do every year.

Right now, we are accepting monetary donations that will be set aside specifically for Christmas. This helps us plan ahead and make sure every child we serve experiences joy, dignity, and the feeling of being remembered during the holiday season.

Because of your generosity, we are able to provide gifts, essentials, and moments of happiness for children who may otherwise go without.
