🎃 Final Farewell Ceremony for William “W***y” Richards 🕯️
This Saturday, October 4th at 7:00 PM, Columbia Manor invites you to a heartfelt tribute as we say our final goodbye to our cherished Embalmer, W***y Richards. His spirit has been a guiding force in our haunted halls, and now we gather to honor his final journey.
🎟️ Ticket Office Notice:
The ticket office will open at 6:30 on Saturday, close at 6:55 for the duration of the ceremony and reopen immediately afterward.
👻 The Haunt Awakens:
Following the farewell, The Haunt will open for the evening—where W***y’s legacy will linger in every shadow.

It is with heavy hearts that Fanaticon bids farewell to an old friend. George Lowe, who remained in touch after our 2019 event, brought warmth and humor to all who met him. Though he didn't know it at the time, his role in Space Ghost Coast to Coast helped reshape late-night TV. We thank him for the laughs and his contributions, and offer our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fans.

NWA to host Hard Times wrestling event in Dothan The Dothan Civic Center confirmed through their public email newsletter that the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) would be holding their Hard Times 2024 signature live event at the Dothan Civic Center on Saturday, March 2.

Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of attending the Dothan City Center Public Information Meeting at the Wiregrass Museum of Art. It was so nice to see some familiar faces again! The VR preview setup was very cool, and the museum was beautiful as always. 🎨🖼 Definitely had nostalgic vibes from when we used this room for board games! Hehe. 🎉
We are slowly getting back to our work on event planning and, while nothing is set in stone just yet, we wanted to check in and say how much we appreciate all the messages and questions we've been getting about Fanaticon and the launch of Fanatix Publishing. 🗯 I promise we will update everyone as soon as we have something to share, and in the meantime, stay tuned for potential mini-events and community gatherings for all you fanatics and if you are a local shop or event that would like to collaborate, reach out anytime! We are home now! 🙏🏻❤️

A new chapter for the creators of Fanatix: After a few years away from the Wiregrass, we are back in the area and planning fun events and products once again. This bodes well for the future of Fanaticon! Still some work to be done, but we're excited to be back home and the potential that brings.

7 years ago we started Fanaticon. It took us on a quest to have the best locally ran fan convention in the south! We have learned so much from each of you: the amazing fans, guests, panelists, artists, and industry folks who literally built this convention up in the most unlikely places, but you did it. We will forever love our "Fanaticon family". Sadly with all the changes in the world of live events, mixed with my family's personal situation, we are currently not able to return for 2021 at this time. If anything changes our social media channels will of course post it everywhere! Until then, please continue to be awesome, support local businesses and events that are still going, and never stop being a fanatic for the things and people you care about. 🚀❤

Things are on hold for now... Hopefully we will return in 2021. Please be safe and good to each other folks. 2019 was a very special event and hopefully we can get back to normal next year. Until then, we'll miss you all.
