Prepare yourself for cuteness!!! These two sweet faces will be on Buddy Walk billboards and signage all over the Wiregrass next year! Congratulations to you both, and thank you for participating in the Buddy Walk!

We are proud to announce the 2026 Wiregrass Area Buddy Walk TOP FUNDRAISERS! #1 Axel Fox and #2 Jillian Land! These two kiddos and their families worked so hard to acquire donations and promote the Buddy Walk. Lets shout congratulations & thank yous to these teams in the comments!

We will be at the Peanut Festival Fairgrounds this Saturday at 9am! All are welcome. Please enter through the South Entrance. If you have not pre-registered, it will be $5 admission. There will be lots of activities (characters, dj, photo booth, balloon art, face painting, carnival games, inflatables and more!). At 10:30am the ceremonies will begin and each buddy will have the opportunity to be individually celebrated on stage. Around 11:15 we will kick off the walk (one short lap around the fairgrounds). Lunch will be served upon completion of the walk. We hope to see you there!

ONE WEEK to pick out your socks for World Down Syndrome Day. We are so excited that the Buddy Walk falls on WDSD this year! Please join us in wearing fun, colorful, mismatched socks as we celebrate individuals with Down syndrome across the Wiregrass and the world.
