Happy ( belated ) New Year pastry lovers!!
I am officially a resident of FLORIDA again 🙃.

As you may know, per my last post, I dealt with cancer in 2024 - 2025. After being deemed cancer free I am STILL navigating this new normal of post cancer life.
This is a life trip I hope none of you ever have to navigate.
Long story short- I have new chronic health problems due to cancer/treatments, I am having to find myself again & I have to be closely monitored for at least the next 5 years. IN NEEDING to prioritize my health; me, my wonderful hubby & pups have moved back to our hometown of Panama City, Florida. It's where the majority of the doctors whom saved me are, it's where I grew up, it is the fresh start my family needed.

Having said all that - I am no longer baking for any businesses in Dothan or Enterprise Alabama area. It hurts to leave that all behind. As the last 10 years of my life were in the wiregrass . It was there I fully grew into a pastry chef, I opened my own business there & I made so many amazing connections with people and small business owners.

Panama City, FL is a nice short trip for a get away for you all to come and get some pastries...

🎂 LIFE UPDATE 🎂
hey all you sweet tooth lovers! I am posting this update for me just as mush as I am posting it for yall. I know it has been a hot minute... I took a step back from social media this last year as I was fighting for my health. In the last 365 days I have dealt with:

•precervical cancer diagnosis
•adenomyosis
•endometriosis
•total hysterectomy
•thyroid cancer diagnosis
•2 thyroid surgeries resulting in total thyroidectomy + 6 lymphnodes removed
•radioactive iodine treatment
•right o***y removal due to complications (in bed resting from this one as I type this up)
•ongoing hormone/thyroid issues

After 365 days of fighting, crying, anger, guilt, and fear I finally got told to BREATHE as I was told I am currently Cancer Free. I never thought at 34 years old I would have to endure as much as I have in the last year. I am no where near 100%. I am working on figuring out my new normal moving forward. Thanks to the grace of Corks & Cattle I was able to stay baking for yall when I was able to this past year. This community has been a steady constant. I have missed all the relationships I have built and hope to soon be feeling closer to 100%. I will update more as I get back at it. But that's all for now! Thank you for supporting my baking passion.
