Hey, volunteers! Grants are up for grabs for your fire departments! State Farm® and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) are keeping their awesome $1.5 million commitment going strong to help resource-constrained volunteer fire departments secure needed equipment. In 2026, they’ll provide 150 volunteer fire departments with $10,000 grants to enhance safety, effectiveness, and operational readiness. The 2026 application period opens from Monday, May 4 at 12:00pm (noon) Eastern to Thursday, May 7 at 12:00pm (noon) Eastern. Make sure to share this with your local firefighters so they don’t miss out!
