It's almost that time y'all...Mardi Gras is coming to Dothan! Join us Saturday, February 26th downtown for a KOK Mardi Gras Parade Pre-Party! Foster Street will be closed but the businesses will be open and ready to let the good times roll! The fun begins at 2 pm. See y'all there!
Heritage Talk Series…
We are planning our first Heritage Talk Series at Porter Hardware for the end of February. This is the first of several talks that will be filmed in hopes of capturing and preserving some of Dothan’s rich history. I am looking for guests who are interested in having a “round table talk” to be a part of our conversations. This will be an informal conversation, not a hard pressed interview. (Think friends meeting for coffee.) All things Christmas tomorrow in downtown Dothan! Lots of free, family fun with train rides and bouncies, Selfies with Santa and the Grinch, s’mores, and ornament making, letters to Santa, Candy Cane Lane, Christmas caroling, and the city tree lighting as the big finale! Lots of great holiday shopping and eats and treats and ice skating! Fun starts at 1 pm and runs until 5:30 pm! See you there. 🎅🏾🎄☃️
