Dothan Leisure Services, along with the Jon Lee Foundation, are partnering to offer a beginner wheelchair basketball program, for individuals 18 years old and older, with a lower body impairment. The hope is to receive enough interest to form several teams, that could begin practicing on a weekly basis, in order to organize a league.
For anyone interested in participating, please contact the Doug Tew Therapeutic Recreation Center at 334-615-3720 for additional information.

Now accepting applications for 2 new positions!
We are advertising for a Virtual School Coordinator to handle all things related to our virtual school. The applicant must have a teaching certificate, be good with technology and have awesome people skills!
We are also advertising for 3 aide positions. These people will work with our nurses to provide basic first aid, diabetes care, and anything else health related. One will be located at the schools in Slocomb, one in Hartford and one in Samson. These positions for just for one school year.
