MISSION TRIP APPLICATIONS DUE:

God is opening doors for our church to serve and make disciples both in the U.S. and around the world. We currently have two mission trips coming up, and we would love for you to prayerfully consider being part of one of these teams.

🏔 Montana Mission Trip
Application Deadline: March 31

🇬🇧 London Mission Trip
Application Deadline: May 13

These trips will focus on supporting gospel work and strengthening local churches as we serve alongside ministry partners.

You can find trip information and applications on the Missions page of our church website or in the Connect Area outside the library.

Please be praying for these trips, the teams that will go, and the people we will have the opportunity to serve and share the gospel with.

If you feel the Lord may be leading you to go, we encourage you to apply!

OCC Trip to Atlanta

SBDR continues efforts in response to LA fires, Appalachian flooding | Baptist Press ALPHARETTA, Ga. – In Los Angeles, Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) volunteers recently began helping homeowners sort through the remaining ashes of their houses in an attempt to salvage any belongings that may have survived the wildfires that swept through the area in January.

They almost didn't come...A family of six approached our ministry partner with a concern—they didn't have nice clothes for the outreach event.

“It doesn’t matter little ones–just come as you are," the ministry partner replied.

𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭'𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞, and within their shoebox gift, each of them found brand-new winter clothes! The mother of those children came to the ministry partner and said, “These are the only clothes my children received this Christmas.”

They are now counting the days until The Greatest Journey class because of the love, warmth, and kindness they experienced at the event…𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬! ❤️

FBC Women visit Wiregrass Hope Group (link now available to sign up!)

When: Thursday, February 20th, 2025; doors will open at 5:30 with the tour starting at 6 PM

FBC Women's Ministry is excited to partner with Wiregrass Hope Group for an immersive experience into one of the many ministries offered our community! Each guest will be assigned a name and background story in order to experience firsthand what it would look like for that individual to seek services at WHG - and to receive the blessings that follow.

Between now and 2/20/25, bring suggested baby items to FBC Connect Area or Adult Assembly Room 👶🏼👶🏽👶🏻👶🏾 These items will be transported to WHG on 2/20/2025:

Infant/baby clothing
Zip up sleepers (boy and girl)
Baby bath (soap) and baby lotion
Bath seats
Pack and play (playpen)
Bouncy seats
Diapers, size 4-5-6
Wipes
Formula: AR (added rice) formula and Gentle Ease formula
Rattles and teething toys
Spoons
Pacifiers
Safety items (like plug protectors)
