💜At New Promise Cancer Foundation, our Cancer Connection Program is designed to provide education, resources, and a sense of community for those impacted by cancer.

This quarter's Cancer Connection focused on "Caring for the Caregiver," highlighting the important role caregivers play throughout the cancer journey. We are grateful to our guest speakers from The Hope Chest Counseling Services for sharing their insight and encouragement, and to our Program Coordinator for sharing her personal experience as a caregiver.

If you are a caregiver needing extra support, join us from 5:30–6:30 p.m.! New Promise’s Program Coordinator will be sharing her story, and our friends from The Hope Chest Counseling Services will be joining us again to share helpful, healthy strategies and tips. We hope to see you there! 🎉

Join us Tuesday, June 9 at the Wiregrass Foundation for our next Cancer Connection Program meeting. This special session is designed specifically for caregivers and will focus on caregiver fatigue and boundary setting. Caring for a loved one through cancer can be overwhelming, and this supportive, caregivers-only environment will provide space to share experiences, gain encouragement, and learn healthy ways to care for yourself while caring for others.

The New Promise Cancer Foundation will be closed on Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

Meet Maddie! ✨As our Program Coordinator, Maddie plays an essential role in carrying out our mission each day. She works closely with patients and their families to walk them through our Financial Assistance Program to help ensure that they receive the support they need during some of life’s most difficult moments. She also helps lead our Cancer Connection Program! Thank you for serving our patients and walking alongside them on their journey. 💙

Thanks to your generous support, there is a victory to celebrate! 🎉 Our 2026 Promise Partner campaign officially raised over $61,000 to support the Wiregrass community. 💜 Thank you to our friends at ServisFirst Bank, our incredible Promise Partners, their friends and loved ones, and our supporters for making this campaign a huge success! 👏
