I am by no means an expert but, I have coordinated a few of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University Classes and mentored several individuals on finance whom I work with over the last 17 years. I have read several of Dave Ramsey's books on personal finance and listen to his podcast every day to educate myself.

It has been awhile but have you looked at your savings rate? Where is your emergency fund stores? My old bank was offering around .01%. I switched my emergency to SoFi and they are over 4.4%. That seem like a small increase but it a huge difference each year. You have to have a direct deposit go in the account to get over 4%. It was 4.4% when I signed up.
