There seems to be some confusion regarding the City of Dothan's garbage/trash/recycling collections on holidays.

In an attempt to explain the holiday collection schedule - garbage/trash/recycling will be picked up on each, normally scheduled day...even on holidays. There are 2 exceptions to this schedule - Thanksgiving, and on some years, Christmas.

The City of Dothan will remind everyone of these two exceptions nearer to the holidays.
