Hey hey! It’s been a minute, so let’s reintroduce ourselves! We’re Laura Lee & Jake Wood, the duo behind LL Events. We’ve been making Alabama events stress-free since 2017!

I’m LL—the planner, the coordinator, the one running around behind the scenes making sure everything is perfect. And then there’s Jake—the muscle, the fixer of all things, and my right-hand man who somehow always has a solution when things go sideways (especially if something breaks—seriously, it’s like his superpower). He spends his weekdays running BioShield Services and then magically transforms into my event-day MVP on the weekends. I truly couldn’t do this without him (literally—he carries all the heavy stuff 🤪)

One of my biggest wedding day tips: Make a bridal box! ✨

A week or so before the big day, gather all your must-have detail items—shoes, jewelry, perfume, invitation suite, sentimental pieces—and place them in a box or bag.

Why? Your photographer usually starts the day capturing these beautiful details, and having everything in one spot saves you from scrambling around looking for them! Plus, once photos are done, all your essentials are right there for you to finish getting ready. A total win-win! 🩵
