Y’all... $15 AYCE in Alpharetta?! I truly can’t remember the last time I paid $15 for a meal... ugh.
AJ’s Home Cooking has been around for 13 years and now I know why. The food is hot, fresh, and actually seasoned well, not overly salty at all.
They’re known for their fried chicken, which are hand-chop for more even cooking, and every piece comes out crispy, juicy, and perfectly fried.
Service was a solid 10/10. Just go and thank ya girl later.

Join us for a two hour intimate dining experience featuring elevated Vietnamese inspired bites, exceptional nigiri, a handcrafted dessert course, and the stories behind the flavors that inspired them.

Fun fact: I’m from Mobile, AL! If you’re ever in town, definitely check out TAO Hot Pot & BBQ at the mall on Airport Blvd. It’s an AYCE hot pot and kbbq and they have soju as well.
Their portions are generous, the meat and vegetables are cut thicker than most places, and I’m really loving their parchment paper concept over the grill. You grill your meat with butter right on top, and surprisingly, it still gets a nice char. I’m diggin’ it!
They also have a sauce station with side items you can grab yourself, and the service was great. Definitely worth checking out!

Y’all, as much as I’d love to gatekeep this treat… I have to put you on.
It’s Kem Sữa Chua, Vietnamese frozen yogurt and I seriously can’t get enough. It’s perfectly balanced sweet, tart, creamy, and super refreshing.
I ate two and bought them out for the day so I’ll be good for the next 2 days... Stop by, grab yourself one… or two. It’s addicting.

Happiest Mother’s Day to all the beautiful Moms out there! And happy heavenly Mother’s Day to my Mom. Making my mom’s favorite Vietnamese mini pancakes, Bánh Khọt with quail eggs and shrimps.
First time making Vietnamese street snack Bánh Bột Chiên and I honestly don’t know what took me this long. These crispy, chewy rice cakes are ridiculously addictive...
I used the store-bought rice cake block, sliced it up, and pan-fried it until golden and crispy. It does use quite a bit of oil, so I went with avocado oil to justify eating an unreasonable amount of them... don’t judge me.
I dipped it in a sweet and savory soy dipping sauce and fresh chili peppers…
