Once upon a time, Camila Castillo was one of the talented cellists in our Miami Youth Orchestra Beginner Orchestra. Today, she is a professional musician, and although she no longer plays the cello, she continues to visit and support our orchestra throughout the year.

Looking back at this incredible experience fills our hearts with joy. We had an amazing team of teachers, talented students, and a wonderful choir that made this production truly unforgettable. ❤️🎤🎻
And the magic continues! We already presented Tribute to Broadway 3, featuring the energetic song “Revolting Children” from the musical Matilda — a performance full of excitement, creativity, and talent! 🌟

Being part of a music group is about so much more than learning notes or performing on stage. It’s about finding a place where you belong, building lifelong friendships, growing with every rehearsal, and discovering the confidence to shine both on and off the stage. ❤️🎶
Every performance is the result of teamwork, dedication, and a shared passion that brings people together. That’s what Broadway 3 was all about—a celebration of music, community, and unforgettable memories.

Recordamos con mucho cariño parte de nuestra presentación en Broadway 3 con una de las canciones más icónicas del teatro musical: “Do-Re-Mi” de The Sound of Music (La Novicia Rebelde). 🎶
💡 Dato curioso: La canción “Do-Re-Mi” fue escrita por Rodgers & Hammerstein para enseñar las notas musicales de una forma divertida y memorable. En la película de 1965, María la canta mientras recorre Salzburgo con los niños Von Trapp, convirtiéndose en una de las escenas más queridas de la historia del cine musical.
We’re looking back at a special moment from our Broadway 3 performance with one of the most iconic songs in musical theater: “Do-Re-Mi” from The Sound of Music. 🎶
💡 Fun Fact: “Do-Re-Mi” was written by Rodgers & Hammerstein to teach the musical scale in a fun and unforgettable way. In the 1965 film, Maria sings it while exploring Salzburg with the Von Trapp children, creating one of the most beloved scenes in movie musical history.

Thank you so much, PBS, for inviting us to be part of Young Maestros. It was truly an unforgettable experience for our young musicians.
After two weeks of dedicated rehearsals and hard work, our students proudly presented a beautiful fusion of musical styles. Our program included Concerto for Strings in D Major and Alla Rustica in G Major by Antonio Vivaldi, followed by the orchestra's energetic performance of "My Shot" from the musical Hamilton.
Our talented soloists also shined brightly. 🌸 Bella delivered a beautiful performance of "Flowers," and Luna gave a wonderful rendition of "Maybe" from the musical Annie. We are so proud of them!
Performing at Pinecrest Gardens made this event even more special, and it was an unforgettable experience for all of our Young Maestros. 💙
A heartfelt thank you once again to PBS for this amazing opportunity and for supporting the next generation of musicians. We are honored to have been part of this wonderful event! 🎼👏🎉
