Congratulations and welcome to Rep. Tony McCombie and Rep. Brad Fritts who were sworn in today for the new term. Today marks the end of my term and it also brings new legislative district maps.

For those who have been in my legislative district for the past 10 years, the maps have changed and you may be represented by either Rep. Tony McCombie ([email protected]) or Rep. Brad Fritts ([email protected]). I wish them the very best in the term ahead. And I know you all will be well served by these two dedicated public servants.

I’m on the road to Springfield for the last time to serve in the House of Representatives. For the past ten years, it has truly been an honor and privilege to represent the people of Lee, Ogle, DeKalb, and LaSalle Counties at the Capitol. Thank you for your votes, questions, thoughts, and feedback throughout the years. God bless Illinois, our home!

We started the season a few days early with a visit to the Christkindlmarket and Winterfest at Wrigley Field. Ice skating, a train ride, and some glühwein. Cheers!

With polls closing in less than 24 hours, I spent the final day before Election Day meeting voters at retail locations and touring businesses across Suburban Chicago with Catalina Lauf (candidate for US Congress IL-11), Kathy Salvi and of Dan Brady.

The message from voters is clear - it is time for real change in Springfield.

If you have not yet had the chance to vote, make a quick plan to vote tomorrow!

Closed out the weekend tour around Illinois with Kathy Salvi meeting some great people at St. Mary Knanaya's parish in Morton Grove.

Early vote today, or vote tomorrow on Election Day! We were out talking to folks in Peoria and Galesburg a few days ago with Scott Preston, Desi Anderson, Esther Joy King, Travis Weaver and Mike Thoms!

Kicking off a beautiful Sunday door-knocking day in Lake Zurich with Dan McConchie, a great Leader in the Senate!

In Rockford last night for another stop on our GOTV (Get Out The Vote) Tour to receive the endorsement of Congressman Darin LaHood!

Congressman LaHood continues to be a tremendous leader who fights for Illinois families and businesses. I was honored to receive his endorsement.

Started the morning of our GOTV Tour with Kathy Salvi and Friends of Dan Brady at Ogilvie Train Station continuing to rally support ahead of Election Day on Tuesday!
