Jonah hits pretty close to our own hearts sometimes, more than we would like to admit. We often think of the book of Jonah primarily as a story about a man swallowed by a fish. But it is about the condition of the human heart . God's mercy is working towards those not following His word, and His love towards His unwilling prophet to share God's mercy.
Be moved by God's mercy in the book of Jonah and learn with him.

Today, we honor those who served and gave their lives for our country. As we gather with family and friends, we pause in gratitude, pray for military families who have suffered loss, and remember the cost of the sacrifices made.

As the week closes, it's a good reminder that faith grows one step at a time. One verse read, one day in the word, one act of obedience, and one conversation with God.
This weekend, make room for God. Get into His word and sit with Him so you can confidently walk the next step in faith.

Because we need truth in this noisy world, wisdom for the numerous decisions that come your way, and a rugged hope that surpasses our circumstances.
Bible study isn't just about gaining knowledge; it's about building a relationship with God. Hearing His voice and allowing it to shape our lives.
Our studies are designed to do just that.

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and training for righteousness." 2 Ti. 3:16

Faith grows not in the places of ease, but in the middle of uncertainty as we trust the Lord.

As you enter the weekend, remember: God is faithful in seasons of waiting and even in your current struggles.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

As we lead into the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, we are setting time aside this week to begin in prayer.
