Our club toured the new Nashville State facility yesterday. What a amazing facility. Our community should be proud of the potential good it will bring. Thank you Telania Wrigley for a wonderful tour.

On Friday Dickson High Noon Rotary hosted their annual Golf Tournament. With amazing weather, great turnout and good golf you could not ask for more. More pictures to come.

This morning Jim Sowell and I joined Jeff Brasher and Franklin Rotary Breakfast club for a One Gen food giveaway. Simple, it was a amazing experience and we help so many peole.

Yesterday we welcome Tome Cruse of Safer TN to our meeting. their mission" Our mission is to build safer, healthier communities by reducing preventable firearm tragedies across Tennessee." His presentation was both informative and heart wrenching. Thank you for your work to make Tennessee safer.

At this Thursday meeting we had the pleasure to hear from Lt. Col. Herbison from the Civil Air Patrol. His presentation was very informative and well received by our members. For more information use the QR code below.

What a great experience this weekend at Rotary PETS. Our leadership team Chris and Jeff are fantastic. Started of with a excellent service project collecting over 10,280 pairs of shoes for Soles for Souls. Ended with a heart wrenching story from Miquette about growing up in Haiti and what Rotary did for her.

Don, Ciaran and I attending Rotary Leadership Institute on Saturday. The conference was excellent, lead by Phil King and our District 6760 Governor Chris Williams. We came away with many great idea to bring back to our respective clubs. Thank you.

This week, Dickson High Noon Rotary was in action making a difference in our community!

We were honored to hear an outstanding presentation from Mark Cook of the Drug Free Dickson Coalition. Their team is doing incredible work to promote a drug-free community and has received national recognition for their excellence. We’re grateful for the impact they continue to make right here in Dickson.

A big thank you to Phyliss Bradley for spearheading our February snack drive! Because of her leadership and the generosity of our members, we were able to present Liz Wall of Kinsman Redeemer with more than 2,200 snack items to support local needs.

We wrapped up the meeting on a high note by President Brad Robert and Treasurer Mark Denny presenting Gail Adams of Meals on Wheels with a check for over $7,000 — funds raised at our annual auction to help support their vital services.

At this weeks High Noon Rotary meeting we had the pleasure of welcoming Angela Redden to our club. Angela is a wonderful person and her bookstore on Main Street is well worth a visit.
