A small group of chocolates that hatched this year. I've been working on consistently producing darker chocolates, and this group got the memo! I love how deep, dark, and rich their color is. This is a result of selective breeding; culling those from hatch that do not meet my standard for down color. In my experience, the darker the down, the darker the feather. I can't wait to see this group move into adulthood.

I have decided to downsize my flock and will only be raising black Langshan and silver and chocolate muscovy moving forward. Because of genetics, I will occasionally have blue, lilac, and Buff muscovy. I have 2 silver muscovy females and 3 blue langshan pairs (more after hatching their nest). Muscovy ducks are 7️⃣5️⃣ each, langshan pairs are 5️⃣0️⃣-7️⃣5️⃣. One pair will have a broody hen and 4 babies-2 langshan and 2 Barred rock.

**EDIT** The part FIXED the automatic turning issue. It now functions properly!

Gqf 1502 incubator available. Clean and sanitized. Everything works great except the automatic turner. I just used the manual button and turned it twice a day. I have ordered a part that *should/could* fix the automatic issue and will either send the part with, or replace it. Has water system with 2 new wicks, 3 yr old command center, 1 yr old fans, 6 standard chicken egg trays, 1 duck/goose/turkey tray. Please pm for additional info!

3 different age groups (day old, 10 days, 20 days) of Barred Plymouth Rocks available, as well as 1 blue langshan chick (20 days old). 18 total. Would love to move them out as a single group or 2 groups.

I normally do not keep aggressive birds. I refuse to. As they say, there are always exceptions, though. This girl is overly aggressive toward me when checking eggs and ducklings and uses her best weapon (the back end of a broody is, in fact, the most dangerous weapon), to make me leave her alone. She bites and claws and leaves bruises and blood. However. Another duck decided she didn't want to raise her babies and went to a second nest to set on eggs. I grabbed the babies, banded them, and took a few to see if #28 would care for them, as she hatched her nest the same day. It was a success! She ran to me when she heard squeaking and instantly started protecting and caring for her new babies. This earned her a spot to stay here. From 6 to 16 with no problems 🤎. Sometimes it's hard getting another duck to care for babies that aren't hers, and I'm so glad she is. The less I have to hand raise the better.
