Today marks the final day of Tennessee Rescue Squad Week, and Tennessee City Fire Rescue is proud to stand alongside the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads as a Full Member agency.

We are honored to serve our community through fire suppression, rescue operations, swiftwater rescue, public safety diving, and all-hazards emergency response. This week has been a great opportunity to recognize the dedicated rescue personnel across Tennessee who answer the call day and night to protect their communities.

From vehicle extrication and technical rescue incidents to water emergencies and disaster response, rescue service takes teamwork, training, and commitment — and we are proud to be part of that mission.

Thank you to all rescue squads, firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, and emergency responders across Tennessee for your dedication and sacrifice.

We especially want to thank the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads for supporting rescue services and strengthening emergency response across our state.

Thank you Region 3 & Region 4!

Today, the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads proudly recognizes the dedicated rescue squads and emergency responders serving Region III and Region IV across Middle and West Tennessee.

From the rolling hills and growing communities of Middle Tennessee to the farmlands, river communities, and rural towns of West Tennessee, these responders continue to answer the call with courage, professionalism, and compassion.

Whether responding to severe weather, vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, technical rescues, or disasters, the men and women serving throughout Regions III and IV remain committed to protecting the citizens and communities of Tennessee every single day.

Their dedication reflects the true spirit of service and sacrifice that defines the rescue service across our state.

To every volunteer, career responder, officer, and support member serving in Regions III and IV — thank you for your unwavering commitment and for all that you do for Tennessee.

Fire Chief Danny Tucker recently attended the 2026 Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson Conference, continuing Tennessee City Fire Rescue’s commitment to professional development, fire investigation, and public safety excellence.

The conference focused on important updates to NFPA 921, NFPA 1033, and NFPA 1321, along with fire investigator job performance requirements and best practices in modern fire investigations.

Training opportunities like this help ensure our department stays current on the latest standards, investigative procedures, and industry practices to better serve and protect our community.
