🇺🇸 Today is Flag Day 🇺🇸
Today we celebrate the Stars and Stripes — a symbol of freedom, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of the United States of America.
For 250 years, our flag has flown over battlefields, schools, courthouses, homes, and communities across this great nation. It reminds us of the generations of Americans who have worked, served, and sacrificed to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.
On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress adopted the first official flag of the United States, declaring that the flag would feature thirteen stripes and thirteen stars representing the original colonies.
As we honor Old Glory on this Flag Day, take a moment to reflect on what the American flag means to you and your family.
God Bless America, and God Bless the men and women who have defended our nation and our freedoms.
🇺🇸
