Accomplished in styles ranging from funk to jazz to rock to pop and everywhere in between, Jarvis draws from a unique blend of influences to make his signature sound. His catchy melodies, tight grooves, and ridiculous riffs have garnered him comparisons to John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr., and Jason Mraz, among others. Aside from his distinct sound, what sets Jarvis apart from other artists is his sense of community. Throughout his career, he has never balked at an opportunity to collaborate, and his consistent and reliable support has made him a go-to for all types of musicians looking to sharpen their creative visions. His constant push for precision and perfection for himself and others has brought him into the ranks of LA’s top musical talents. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2011, Jarvis has performed, produced, and engineered with over twenty artists, including Ericka Guitron (LA performer/producer), Brandon Combs (LA session drummer; producer for “The Internet”), and B.Miles (Spotify sensation, TIME Magazine top 5 artist to hear this year). Additionally, Jarvis has been a musical director, guitarist, and bassist for several churches and corporate groups, including Reliance Community Church, Lincoln Baptist Church, Covina Assembly of God, and Night Owl Productions.
