RECENT EHV NEWS (NOT at the OHC or in Lane County): We are aware of the most recent case of EHV in Clackamas County. The case resulted with equine euthanization on May 31. The horse was entered in competition at an Oregon High School Equestrian (OHSET) Team Event on May 12-15 in Central Oregon but lives at a location in Clackamas County.

Competitors in any event taking place this weekend at OHC must contact both us AND your show managment if your horse:
a) was a participant at the event described above OR
b) had any direct/indirect contact with any other horse who attended.

Please contact your show management and us *immediately* before heading to our facility. Out of abundance of caution, *if you meet this criteria*.

TO ALL OTHERS: this disease is not going anywhere anytime soon. If you show, travel with or trail ride your horses, vaccinations and active disease mitigation protocol should be standard practice. We need your help AND partnership in reducing the risk at ALL equine events here and elsewhere. **PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR YOUR HORSES - BRING THERMOMETERS WITH YOU TO SHOWS - KNOW YOUR HORSE'S BASELINE TEMPS - REPORT ABNORMALITIES IMMEDIATELY** Again, this should be standard practice for all horse owners.

Searching for a horse for a client, Advanced beginner/intermediate, will have training and coaching as well. AQHA or APHA, Mare/Gelding, 5 or older, broke with all the basics, searching for an all around type, English/Western/Showmanship, Horsemanship. Not necessarily finished but well on its way, prefer some show experience again not required but suitable to head in that direction. Budget 5K if close to desired specs. We are saying goodbye to a friend and client this month. We share in her excitement of purchasing their own facility. Her gain is our loss, which might be your gain. March 23 we will have 2 stall openings, partial or full care only. These don't come along often and rarely stay open long, so if you are looking for a stall, now's the time. Indoor/outdoor arenas, round pen, all stalls are matted with auto water and attached 12x24 paddock, private and group pasture turnout, trailer parking, trail course under construction, lessons and training available, staff in site. We are located in Dexter.

Looking to add a few Youth and Amateur riders to our show team. Focus on OFEA, AQHA, APHA multiple discipline. Full time training or lesson schedule openings. We have a few stall openings over the next month, contact us if you are interested.
