Soooo, I can confidently say I really like Bellevue, Ohio. 14 trains in 4 hours, with a good variety. The Wheeling snuck up on me (I was not prepared lol). Anytime I see a high hood it’s a good day. Can’t wait to go back now that I see how it all works. ✌🏻

Happy Friday, Fam! 🌞
Amtrak 352 passing the beautiful Dexter Depot on a perfect Michigan spring evening. This was my first time to Dexter and I absolutely adored it. So much so I went back the following evening to snag some more snaps.
Opened in 1887, the depot served train passengers for 66 years. The Huron Valley Railroad Historical Society, owner of the historic structure, shares the space with the Ann Arbor Model Railroad Club. They were so gracious as to let us come in and explore on a non member evening, and show us their models. 🫶🏻

Greenfield Village’s #1 Edison is seen resting outside of the working roundhouse in Dearborn, MI
The Edison was originally built as a 0-4-0 switcher locomotive in 1870 by Manchester Locomotive Works. It was later modified to become a 4-4-0 by Ford Motor Company staff.
It serves as one of three regularly operated steam engines in the village!

A little steam Saturday! Is that a thing? If not let’s make it one lol.
