Spring blooms you can actually eat are popping up all over Greener Partner's Philly gardens right now 🌸 Nutritious, gorgeous, and hiding in plain sight — can you name these edible flowers? Better yet, can you spot them in your own neighborhood?

Across our community, schools are asking for programs that connect children to fresh food, healthy habits, the natural world.

They want school gardens. They want nutrition education. They want opportunities for students to learn by growing, tasting, exploring, discovering.
Greener Partners has always been there for them.

But this year, many schools face a new challenge.
Recent cuts to SNAP-Ed funding have left schools with fewer resources to support these programs.

Programs that help children learn about healthy food and make fresh produce more accessible are being reduced just as demand is growing.
That's why your support is so important right now.

We are within $27,000 of reaching our $206,828 goal!

If we can raise these funds by July 31 Greener Partners can bring our programs to 26 additional partner schools, reaching hundreds more children and families with:

- Equitable access to fresh, healthy food
- Hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity and confidence
- School and community-based urban farming initiatives
- Opportunities to build lifelong healthy habits

The need is immediate. The opportunity is real.
Without additional support, many schools experiencing these funding cuts may have to forgo programs that help students connect what they learn in the classroom to the food they eat every day.

What a view we were treated to when we arrived at sunrise for harvesting at King of Prussia Women's Specialty Center!

Throwback Thursday!

This was our first smoothie ever made at Greener Partners! It was an after school program with students from Girard College. Amy had brought her own blender and made a smoothie with kale and spinach. From there Seed to Snack was born that then turned into Farm Explorer!

It's wild to think of how many more smoothies were made after this one!!

Thank you to everyone who came out and visited us for West Chester's Turks Head Music Festival! We brought our bike to blend your own smoothies. We had a blast!

This very special annual event – featuring cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, farm-to table seated dinner, and live and silent auctions – takes place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the beautiful Terrain Gardens at Devon Yard in downtown Devon, PA.
