Me - now and then. Needed to update my 2015 Passport photo (inset), and set up my headshot gear for a self-portrait. Ten-second delay was just enough time to press the shutter, get to the backdrop and strike a pose!

Hats off to the volunteers and staff at Surrey Services for another successful Holiday House Tour! And many thanks to Surrey for an enjoyable day of fun photography for me; such an honor and a pleasure! The Holiday Shop and five area homes of impeccable design and stunning holiday decor made this year's Tour so memorable and enjoyable, all while raising much-needed funds for our area seniors - congrats Surrey! www.jimdevinephotography.com

Overnight flight to London. Sun was rising as we changed time zones and approached our destination. Serene beauty makes you forget that you’re traveling almost 600 mph at 38,000 feet above some of the most remote deep ocean water on the planet! Swipe right for location.

The Country Fair at the Devon Horse Show draws over 3,000 volunteers, including me again this year. Happy to donate my time for a good cause - proceeds benefit Bryn Mawr Hospital.

We enjoyed a private tour of the PHS Flower Show this year through the Union League. Our guide, Darren Fava , a PHS volunteer, and communications director for Philly Parks & Rec was wonderful. Made the tour much more fun and informative than if we had walked around on our own. After the tour, we enjoyed brunch and a presentation from PHS leadership on the history and significance of the Flower Show. A couple of soundbytes: Largest and longest-running flower show in the world - first held in 1829, and now draws over 250,000 visitors each year. This year’s theme was “United by Flowers,” and the show had a number of unique urban landscapes as well as more traditional residential exhibits. The miniatures are always a favorite, and were really well done - see if you can spot them in my gallery! The entrance, “Edges and Reflections” was a stunning burst of colors and light, thanks in part to our friends at Valley Forge Flowers!
