Our school age students, the Jiving Jellyfish and Smart Sharks went on a field trip to see the “Happy Tails” presentation of exotic animals. The students were able to see and hear details of these animals, like where they’re from and were also given information on ages and how to protect themselves and what they eat. The students even had the opportunity to touch two of the animals, the alpaca and a white python. Overall, it was a great event! We look forward to attending more events this summer.

🐻🔬 Brave Bears Science Fun! 🔬🐻
Today the Brave Bears did a special science experiment with vinegar and baking soda! The children decorated their own little baggies and then watched as the ingredients mixed together. Once everything was added, they got to shake the baggies and observe the exciting reaction. Some of the kiddos were so amazed and excited that we ended up doing the experiment twice!
We also talked about how scientists stay safe while doing experiments, so everyone practiced "Safety First!" by wearing their science glasses. Even after our science activity was finished, the children were still talking about it and wanting to do more experiments.🧪🥽✨
Abcs in Spanish ! Great job Izzy and Sterling!

Today’s science experiment was a fun Sink or Float activity! Our students explored different objects from around the classroom to predict and observe whether they would sink or float in water. We tested a toy bear, a plastic pepper, a paper clip, a mini monster truck, a bracelet, and a seashell. Out of all the items, only the plastic pepper and bracelet floated!
The students had a wonderful time taking turns placing objects in the water, making predictions, and observing the results. This hands-on experiment encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and early science skills while making learning fun and engaging.
Today was a fun science experiment in the brainy badger’s room
We discussed the three primary colors of the rainbow
Red, blue and yellow
Now with those colors we were able to mix and make secondary colors
Green, orange and purple
Afterwards, we played a fun game of trying to guess the color palette we used our critical thinking skills to try and guess the order of the color scheme
Our first water day of the summer and what a blast!!!
A quick color video of Nayeli saying her colors🩷 she is only a year old! We are so proud of her! Great job Ms. Connie!
