I’m hopeful the freezes are over for this winter. The lowest temperature recording here was 19.8° F on January 27. At least it wasn’t 10° and snowing like a year ago.

Potting coontie cycads grown from seed. Collected the seeds from Uni of Florida Gainesville in March.

Preparing 100 fresh Trithrinax acanthocoma, Brazilian needle palm, seeds for germination. Hardy to 15° F.

Individually potting each Arenga engleri, dwarf sugar palm, into cups. These will be easy to ship next year.

Serenoa repens, silver form. Five seedlings per one gallon container available next year.

Allagoptera arenaria growing well in the shade. Sunny, 70° F weather in southeast Texas.

This summer has been dry & long. Last few days have been cool enough for me to sit outside & tend to Chamaerops seedlings. These were grown from seed collected in San Jose, California two years ago.
