They learned the styles. They studied the history. Then they made it their own. 💃 Through movement, emotion, and storytelling, our 7th and 8th grade dancers created original performances that showcased not only their talent, but their creativity and confidence, too.

From expert spider writers to bug detectives 🕷️🐞🌿 First grade traded the classroom for the trails at Belle Isle Nature Center, spotting spiders and other tiny creatures in action while showing off all their amazing bug knowledge along the way!

🏑 Field Hockey Takeover 🏑

New sport unlocked! 🔓 Our crew hit the field with Great Lakes Regional Field Hockey and brought the energy. From learning new skills to discovering some unexpected talent, these two days were full of teamwork, confidence-building, and lots of fun.

Safe to say we may have a few field hockey stars in the making. 👀✨

Our 2nd Graders had the privilege of visiting .detroit during their expedition study of Farms & Gardens 🌱 They learned about how Planted Detroit grows their vegetables, how they partner with other businesses, as well as sampled some tasty greens. They also had an opportunity to plant their own flowers and were gifted Planted Detroit Salads to take home!
