NEWCC Digital Stewards EII

Woodward Community Coalition offering 50 households the opportunity to serve as a test network. It is being offered to those who have no or low speed internet connections, limited only by line of sight and the range of our access points. Communication is a fundamental human right. Access to the Internet has the ability to transform our communities and leverage digital technologies for social and economic development, Our intent is to make this open and available to the North End Woodward community. The goal of this community wireless network is for it to be eventually operated as co-operative enterprise. In order for the network to be sustainable, we will be seeking contributions once the testing phase is complete.
