HEALTH ALERT: It is estimated that being outside in this current air quality is like smoking an entire pack of ci******es. The current Air Quality Index (AQI) scale ranges from 0-500. This morning in Detroit the AQI was 500 (it has since lowered to 408 at the time of this post).

This is beyond affecting sensitive individuals but EVERYONE may experience more serious health effects.

The Air Quality Alert remains in effect today through Friday due to persistent wildfire smoke causing hazardous air quality.
