First, please know that I don’t pay much attention to streams. I have preached how they are not a great metric of “success”. Honestly, I wish DSPs wouldn’t even display these numbers. Now, with that being said, it is dope to know that I’m on this list, period. We are in , where EVERYBODY RAPS and has their music on Spotify. This list includes everybody from Phat Kat to 42, and just to know my music is being pulled up and listened to tells me this…. The music I put out is connecting. And, the work that I and my team put in matters. From the big opportunities, to the small shows…. We’re constantly finding our niche, one listener at a time. And we ain’t done just yet. ♥️
“And that’s the beginning of the story.” Always dope to see Paul Rosenberg mention DJ Head in interviews. DJ Head produced a lot of the classic early joints to some of his biggest hits. He is an integral part of the Eminem / Shady Records story, even when it comes to Obie & 50 Cent. He’s also a major part of Detroit Hip-Hop in general. Dude shared a creative space with Dilla, Proof, Amp Fiddler, and so many more. I’m truly blessed to have him as my DJ, executive producer, mentor, and a true friend in life outside of music. We have been all around the state, country, and world together. This post ain’t about me though, it’s about DJ Head… BUT myself & DJ Head will be live in Flint on Fri 4/10 at Churchill's Food & Spirits 😃
