LINK IN BIO. Each month we will be featuring a different community partner who assists our unhoused neighbors with accessing housing. This month we are working to serve the clients of .detroit. Many of whom have been experiencing homelessness for over a year. Your donations will help us provide five individuals or families with essential home items to make this transition safer and more comfortable. First Day Kits include an air mattress, bedding/pillows, dishes, utensils, cookware, cleaning products, towels, a shower curtain, etc. Without these items, many folx spend weeks or longer sleeping on the floor, unable to cook, bathe comfortably, and more or less squatting in their own home. This is unsustainable. Let’s help our neighbors. 🏠💛💪

We want to take a moment to share some important findings from this years Housing Surge funding, where 100 families were served in the Detroit area (thanks to ). Each of these homes were provided essential home items, like beds, cookware, hygiene supplies, etc, to help support success and safety in housing. Each situation was unique, however, there were noticeable trends in the data. As of right now, our team has had to pause on new referrals to focus on our upcoming fundraiser, which will be launched later this summer. Stay tuned and stay curious! 💪🏡💛

This is both a celebration and a bittersweet message to our partners! provided us with $30,000 to provide 100 kits to those exiting homelessness in Detroit back in January and we’ve reached our goal!
