1st Residential Garden installation of the year. With this garden we have been able to expand our residential garden program across state lines. Now we have launched both our Farm to School and Residential Garden programs in Virginia.
For those in Metro Detroit who have applied to participate in our residential garden program this year, you will be receiving an onboarding email in the next week or two. Garden installations will start the first week in June.

Our Farm-to-School program has been in full swing this year. Our group over at has been killing it 👨🏽🌾
On top of seeding the crops, and managing the seedlings the youth have took things to the next level.
1st: They redid our residential garden manuals with a more vibrant look and themes pages for each crop.
2nd: They build a 3D Floor Model of our current garden space at the school.
This FTS season has been so rewarding seeing the youth motivated to use the information they are learning in our sessions.
Special S/O to Ms.Soffin at Seaholm HS who has been program lead on site.
With this momentum we have been in talks to expand our Farm to School program. If you know any schools or teachers that would be interested. Please ask them to reach out to us.

We are excited to kick off the 10th season of our Residential Garden Program.
Applications are open now! Limited spots are available.

Participants in our program each receive one raised bed garden with up to 16 seedlings, a residential garden manual, and supplies to get started. While this program is FREE of charge to all participants, we do encourage program participants to donate any amount if they are able.
Our residential garden program is funded by program participants who have payed the deed forward so that the next family in need can receive a garden as well.

Huge thank you to for partnering with us across three volunteer events this year, dedicated to strengthening our farming infrastructure.
With the help of 120 AAM volunteers (480 total hours), we cleared two community garden sites, doubling our growing capacity, and built 10 pollinator beds at our Eastside location to support a thriving environment.
We’re also deeply grateful for AAM’s generous investment in our 2026 programming.
We can’t wait to share what’s next! 😎 🌱🏁💚
