“It Begins With…”, a new group show at Christopher St. Gallery in Hamtramck. I created an installation, and am also showing photographs and a mixed media piece.

Hidden Lines 18 and 19 are in the Think Small ‘25 exhibit in the Lawrence Street Gallery.

Open studios at the Pioneer yesterday were a success. Thank you to everyone who stopped in yesterday.

I just discovered 2 spent blooms on the floor beside my night blooming cereus. I’m so disappointed that I missed it. I didn’t even notice buds on the plant.

I have a piece in the Big Orange Monster at the Kolaj Institute in New Orleans. Going to the opening was a good excuse to go to Nola for the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my piece “Talking Out of Both Sides of His Mouth”, along with other Chump collages had been “jailed.”

I’ve been experimenting with a method of collage used by my friend Walter Craven. Tape is used to pick up bits of paper and then taped down on a new background. I’m really loving how some parts are transparent, allowing for more layering. The first is “Much More Than Ever …. Saves You.” For me it is my studio and making art. Being on or by the water has also been important lately. What is it for you?

The next two pieces are pages in my artist book “My First Number Book.”

Art Crawl was a success. More people came by than expected—friends and people new to The Pioneer Building.
