🎤 I’ve been on global stages since 2015, but this moment feels different.
Thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted into the Women in CyberSecurity - WiCyS Stage Ready Public Speaking Fellowship Cohort 2, a program designed to help mid-to-senior level professionals refine their signature talk and step into speaking with clarity, confidence, and intention.
I’ve been moderating, hosting, and leading conversations for nearly a decade. But carving out my own lane within cybersecurity, specifically at the intersection of event strategy and digital protection has been deeply personal.
This isn’t just about getting on more stages.
It’s about making sure that when I step up, my message lands:

Day Two at Welcoming America Welcoming Interactive 2025 did not disappoint!
We dove deep into critical conversations and powerful community strategies during the afternoon breakout sessions—from trauma-informed support to multicultural advisory boards, language access, entrepreneurship, and climate resilience. Every room was filled with people ready to learn, share, and activate change.
The Certified Welcoming Reception capped off the day with celebration and connection—honoring communities that are doing the work and setting the standard for what it means to be truly welcoming.
From language justice to cultural preservation, this event continues to spark actionable ideas and meaningful collaborations.

The signs are up. The city is shining. And Welcoming Interactive 2025 is officially here.
For the past three months, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as the Event Consultant for Welcoming America—bringing this national convening to life right here in my hometown, Detroit.
From curating site visits and coordinating volunteers to managing logistics with city leaders, vendors, and partners—this experience has been powerful, purposeful, and proof of how much can happen when strategy meets community.
Welcoming Interactive is more than a conference—it’s a call to action.
A space where inclusion leads.
Where innovation isn’t just talked about—it’s implemented.
