This week our Certified Peer Recovery Mentor (CPRM) Academy students had the opportunity to present their final projects.
Each student shared in-depth information on recovery topics and presented an interactive activity to promote the learning process. Some of the topics covered were Cultural Competence, Ethics, and Boundaries, The Dimensions of Wellness, and Multiple Pathways to Recovery. Each presentation also highlighted how they will use their lived experiences to promote wellness and offer support to others who are seeking recovery.
Great job to all of RTI's CPRM Academy students

Last week, Certified Peer Recovery Mentor Academy had a training at Youth Connection. The topic being taught was Screening Brief Intervention and Referral Treatment and Motivational Interviewing. SBIRT is a public health approach to early intervention and treatment for substance use disorders and risky behavior.
Community Health Worker Training Program completed their first project of the cohort. The Windshield Survey Project is a presentation describing the neighborhood or community resources that are available to individuals and families in your service area.
