This week in Washington, D.C., Detroit Manufacturing Systems (DMS) was represented by Benjamin Meachem, Chief Operations Officer, participating in discussions with national leaders on the policies that affect American manufacturing and supply chain stability.

During the visit, the team met with Congresswoman Lisa McClain as part of ongoing engagement with leaders focused on economic growth in Michigan. They also met with Treasury leadership, including Derek Theurer and Scott Bessent, to discuss economic priorities impacting the manufacturing sector.

These discussions reinforce the importance of a strong manufacturing base, a skilled workforce, and the role of operations-driven organizations in supporting long-term industry resilience.

DMS will continue to engage with public and private sector leaders to support manufacturing growth, workforce development, and sustainable community investment.
