The purpose of Rags Remembered Foundation is to provide outdoor experiences for grieving children.
Founded in 2022, Frank Ragnow’s Rags Remembered Foundation was inspired by Frank’s drive to honor and remember his late father, Jon Ragnow (“Rags”), who passed away unexpectedly in 2016. Frank and his father shared a love for the outdoors and often bonded through outdoor activities. The primary focus of The Rags Remembered Foundation is to use their love of the outdoors to create meaningful and therapeutic outdoor experiences for grieving families and disadvantaged youth.

Campers spent the day fishing with Frank Ragnow, trying archery, enjoying outdoor activities, and building meaningful connections in a safe, supportive environment. Thank you to our incredible volunteers from Angela Hospice, Hospice of Michigan, and the YMCA Camp Ohiyesa staff for helping create such a special experience for every camper.
Together, we're reminding children that they never have to navigate grief alone. 🫶
