Michiganders who are most at risk of catching the virus can now order free at-home COVID-19 tests through a partnership between MDHHS and Rockefeller Foundation. Households in qualifying zip codes will receive one free kit with five tests within one to two weeks after ordering. Dr. Nicol Turner Lee of The Brookings Institution will moderate an interactive conversation between Older Adults Technology Services, Comcast, and local organizations to share information about low-cost internet offerings, government benefit programs to get seniors online, and free technology training and resources.

Please get your COVID-19 and influenza vaccines/ booster, wear your mask in public, and get tested if you develop symptoms. Rates are increasing in the city and across the state, but we have effective prevention (vaccines and masks) and treatment (monoclonal antibodies for COVID, antiviral medications for flu). We want to see everyone return safely to St. Pat when it's safe to reopen.
Holiday traditions are important for families and children. The CDC has provided tips to enjoy those traditions while protecting your health. Here are some way to celebrate safer this year:
