National Magic Day dates back to 1938. The Society of American Magicians, along with Houdini’s wife, proclaimed October 31st as National Magic Day in Houdini’s honor. Houdini was a great escapologist, and you can even check out The Houdini Museum in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
