Returning to Utility Expo, Premier Truck Rental came prepared to entertain all while showcasing their best Fleet Trucks and Trailer Rentals. The substantial outdoor 140’ x 70’ space included 20’ tall double-sided graphics on trusses, trucks on molded rock ramps, outdoor led screens, a decked-out trailer, greenery, and an entertainment area. !

Serrala’s main objective in a new booth design was to reuse some of their existing structures, while showcasing their updated branding and assets. We repurposed their previously dark tower structures and re-laminated all extrusions to give the booth a brighter feel. New graphics were printed to showcase their refreshed branding, and an outdoorsy theme was carried throughout the booth with live plants, a moss wall, and wood elements. This project is a perfect example that making small adjustments to existing structures can really achieve a completely different look and feel!

Quibim is an international client that was looking for a partner in the US to modify a 20 x 40 rental booth to adhere to US Customs standards / regulations. Nimlok was able to accommodate their needs and bring their proven brand to life in the US market with tremendous success. Key elements of the booth were elevated branding, an open format, a semi-private meeting space plus additional open seating, and demo stations. We are now working on another show for Quibim with a totally different configuration, while making sure the brand stays consistent.

Cooper’s Hawk attends outdoor events and needed our help to create a booth to both withstand the outside elements and have a rich, modern feel. Made of aluminum frames, fabric graphics, and laminate counters this booth is made to last and serve happiness to all!

Nimlok Chicago created a bright, bold, and brand specific booth with a large focus on the oversized Sunny D Vodka Seltzer can. The can was surrounded by light, seltzer bubbles, and a fridge filled with different flavor Sunny D Vodka Seltzer drinks. People poured into the booth to sip on the new seltzer, while enjoying the good old fashioned Sunny D taste…ahhh so refreshing! The Uno brand also shared the booth space and provided attendees with their well-loved pizzas and calzones.

During happy hour, the booth took on a whole new mood! The space was enhanced with additional color splashes, color-changing lit cocktail tables, fun giveaways, and a custom drink koozie to hold your Vodka Seltzer as you walk around! The exhibit and brand were a SMASH at the show!

Nimlok Chicago worked with Aerogen to increase their exhibit from a 10 x 20 to a 20 x 30 footprint. They needed a space that would work for educational presentations, showcase their new colorful branding and their product offering. The multiple hanging signs featured the new branding and internal lighting, placed directly over corresponding product counters. The entire back of the booth consisted of comfy seating around a large monitor, perfect for demonstrations and trainings at the booth.

In honor of International Women’s Day, we wanted to give a special shout out to our coworker, Maria! Maria had applied at a time when it was rare to see women working in the warehouse. With her perseverance, she got a job doing what she loved at Nimlok. She has been with Nimlok for 30 years and has paved the way for women working in the warehouse! She gets to use her handywoman skills daily, building beautiful client booths and environments. We are lucky to have her, as well as all the other amazing women on our Nimlok team! 👏🏼🎉

CPDI was ready to make an impact at their shows in the pool industry and Nimlok Chicago brought their custom designed 10 x 20 booth to life. It was time to showcase their products and services in a sleek way! The bright and modern design successfully fulfilled multiple requests for the booth space. This included a unique canopy element with a sheer graphic wall to allow for a semi-private meeting space and unique angled shelving to display the brands products.

2023 brought growth and opportunity for Nimlok Chicago! We grew our team, expanded our service offering, and added to our client storage space by 17,000 sq ft. We look forward to what is to come in 2024!

We celebrated the holidays with our annual white elephant gift exchange and held our company party at Whirly Ball! It was the first time playing for many of us, but that didn’t stop our competitive spirits from coming out during many intense games!

We worked with McDonald’s to create a 35 x 40 custom island booth for the 2023 Anime Expo. The goal was to take their existing outdoor structure and repurpose it for an internal event, creating a restaurant complete with a drive through window, digital menu boards, and a serving counter. To celebrate Grimace’s 51st birthday, we also incorporated a nostalgic kids birthday party table settings and photo ops!

Chester’s Chicken went through a full brand refresh a few years ago and proposed Nimlok Chicago to create a 30 x 30 booth space to represent both the Chester’s Chicken and BirdShack brands. They were looking for a modern style with height that captured attention. Another must-have was space in the booth for a fully functioning kitchen and food sampling areas. The ability to reconfigure the booth size and branding was also important. Lastly, their previous trade show booth was very heavy and expensive to ship, so they preferred to use lighter and more flexible materials this time around.

Nimlok Chicago first tackled the kitchen aspect and dedicated a generous 24.5’ x 14.5’ space to fit the equipment and two sampling counters. We seamlessly incorporated different flooring, designating a separate space for each brand. A dramatic 17.5’ tower and multiple hanging signs really commanded attention and highlighted the brand. Structures were made with versatile aluminum and fabric elements, creating blunt corners that emphasized a modern feel. The booth also featured many backlit graphics, animated displays, and unique acrylic panels giving dimension to the large space.

Kold Draft is an Ali Group Company that specializes in ice machines. They worked with Nimlok Chicago a few years back on a new inline booth design and wanted to reuse a few properties to recreate a larger 20 x 20 exhibit for a bigger presence at industry shows. Additional goals for the exhibit included highlighting several ice machines and showcasing ice forms, updating branding to a high-end luxury feel, and avoiding a crowded space.

The Nimlok Chicago team accomplished this by producing a bold, slightly asymmetrical design that reaches 16’ tall and gives an open feel to the booth. The clean, squared edges of the crisscross columns and stacked design features were inspired by the Kold Draft square ice cube. With low lounge furniture, black finished trim, and raised lit platforms around the perimeter to feature the ice machines, the booth gives a clean yet seductive look, resembling a modern jewelry store meets cigar lounge. Nimlok Chicago also strategically reused some key features from their smaller exhibits to allow for green initiatives along with keeping costs down.

ASCP hosts their own trade show that travels to different locations each year, so flexibility with a new booth design was key. They wanted 30 x 30 and 40 x 40 configurations, with booth properties that could be adjusted for shorter or taller ceilings. ASCP’s previous exhibit had been used for many years, was dated, and did not provide the grander presence they were looking for. Along with a more modern look, they wanted easy graphic change-outs and a maximum build time of 1.5 days.

Nimlok Chicago designed a rounded 360-degree exhibit to draw attention and create a big impact for ASCP making them the “feature” as the host of the show. The entire booth consisted of modular and tubular structures, making it lightweight while maximizing flexibility. In the center of the exhibit, we added a custom-made structure to work at adjustable heights depending on venue requirements. In larger booth spaces, comfy couches allowed for lengthier conversations and in smaller spaces, high-tops were used for quick impromptu meetings. Lastly, we used lighting and monitors for demos to create an even bigger impact, further enhancing ASCP as the centerpiece of the show.

ASCP loved their new exhibit and the debut show in Chicago was very successful. The team was grateful that Nimlok Chicago could check off every box on their wish list, even adding a few extra things for a bolder impact.

Nimlok Chicago worked with to create a new booth design with rental properties and a custom flair for the Sweets and Snacks Expo. The company is internationally based, so their objectives were to create brand awareness in the US market and to promote their vegan, healthy alternative chocolate bars. Our design achieved this with dimensional and illuminated branding and by having two product sampling counters. A selfie station was also incorporated to engage attendees and leave a fun and lasting impression!

Nimlok Chicago partnered with longtime client, Frain Industries, to design new booth elements for the PACK Expo 2022. The primary goal of the updates was the ability to engage prospects in the aisles and transition those conversations to a more private setting. This was accomplished with the large tower structure, backlit features, and greeting stations at the front of the booth. These elements ensured attendees would stop at their booth, giving Frain Industries the opportunity to engage and qualify! This is a timeless approach in exhibit design that is still effective today.

This beautifully hand-crafted kiosk was built for FANUC America Corporation with integrated technology simulating their machines working in a real-life scenario. FANUC uses the simulator for trainings in the workplace, at universities, trade schools, and trade shows. It provides multiple benefits including savings in place of shipping heavy machinery. The custom kiosk was fabricated with birch plywood and painted to match FANUC’s brand colors. It features pocket doors for interior access and a dimensional logo.

Amada Machinery America, Inc. utilized Nimlok Chicago’s rental structures for their 60 x 95 booth space at the IMTS show. Their focus was a clean, minimalistic design with ample space to showcase their machinery equipment. The large booth setup included private meeting spaces, a refreshment bar with tables, and effective brand callouts with dimensional logos and monitors throughout the booth.
