The Health and Safety Program is sharing an opportunity for NEA members to participate in a study on student personal devices in schools. Please consider sharing with your members.

K-12 public school educators are invited to share their perspectives in the Phones in Focus national research study led by University of Pennsylvania Professor Angela Duckworth and fellow researchers.

The confidential 5-minute survey will help researchers better understand student personal device policies and how they work in practice.

Survey participants will receive an instant snapshot of students' personal device policies nationwide and a chance to enter the Phones in Focus Giveaway. Ten educators will win a $500 gift card.

Educators can participate in the survey here: https://www.phonesinfocus.org/.

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month from ISEA! We believe in public schools where every student walks through the door and feels they belong. Where every educator can show up authentically. Where diversity isn't just accepted, it's celebrated. Thank you to all the educators working every day to make Iowa's classrooms welcoming spaces for all students.

Bruce, we appreciate your continued fight and lending your voice on these critical matters.

Opinion: Let’s appreciate teachers for more than a week The teaching profession feels like Rodney Dangerfield’s line, “I tell ya, I get no respect.” Why do professionals dedicated to the future of kids feel this way?
