Show Business! Big Band! Engravings! Oh My Spring is officially in full swing, and I couldn't be more excited about what we have in store for you over the next couple of months.

Chicago! LA! I’m stopping by for a bit to sing in a few weeks. Catch me April 30th at The Intercontinental (5-7pm, Chicago) & May 7th at thebiltmorela (7-9pm, LA).

I'm going to do my show at Noce on Friday. I think of the place as a kind of sanctuary & try to keep it open whenever possible. I believe in art as a tool for advocacy & change & I also believe in its power to soothe or provide escape.

I've been inspired by good people in Minnesota showing up both strong & kind as hell. I am hopeful for better days & also counting on enough people remaining kind AND strong in the days to come. Hang tough & do whatever good you can in your corner of the world.

Home For The Holidays Opens Tomorrow! Let's Celebrate

The first music I fell in love with was from Ella Fitzgerald's Songbook albums. The lyrics, the melodies, & those beautiful arrangements pretty much set the course for my life! Ever since then, I've been obsessed with the work of great songwriters. Tonight I'll be singing a set at Noce full of songs from some of the greats: Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, & Richard Rodgers. We'll go into their lives a bit & cover some great songs along the way. You should come thru! Hit me up for tickets.
